Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions and adviser to Floyd Mayweather Jr, says a March fight with Manny Pacquiao is not going to happen unless both fighters agree to be randomly blood tested. As it stands right now, Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank wants the Nevada State Athletic Commission to making a ruling during their January 19 meeting on whether or not the fighters should take additional drug tests. Golden Boy Promotions, on behalf of Mayweather, have rejected the idea of giving the Nevada Commission the authority to have the final say on the matter. Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer wants a contract agreement for the random drug testing.
Ellerbe says the issue of the random blood tests is the deal-breaker. Unless Pacquiao agrees to be randomly blood-tested, Mayweather will not agree to the fight.
"The only way that this fight will not get made is if Manny Pacquiao is not willing to be randomly blood-tested," said Ellerbe to AOL's Fan House . "As far as Floyd Mayweather, he is more than ready, willing and able to be randomly tested."

So, who cares, for Gayweathers conditions..insistence of random testing is stupidity. Certainty is much realiable than probabilities. Random principles in statistics are meant to capture reality and certainty. Blood Sample right after the fight is certainty. You dont need Random Samples to catch steroids and HGH if you have one, right after the fight. It cannot be masked nor flushed. So this condition from Scaredweather, is purely nonsense and cowardice and nothing but a spin to impugn the legend that is Pacquiao. TO HELL WITH HIM. ONY THE GULLIBLE AND UNEDUCATED WOULD FALL FOR SUCH SPIN.

ReplyDeleteEven if Pacquiao submits to the RANDOM tests, the test's could be rigged to have Pacman's bloodtests contaminated with PED's.

Everyone has to realize that money talks these days and anyone with MONEY can jepoardize the tests and call foul play.
All the GAYWEATHERS team needs to do is slip a briefcase full of cash under the table and the person(s) doing the test's will come out POSITIVE.
Remember the Gayweathers and GBP are not to be trusted with their choice of commitee and random testings.
Ellerbe should tell Mosley to take a test since he managed Berto. Why is Ellerbe not asking Mosley to take Olympic drug style testing since Mosley is a known steroid user? LOL ...hypocrisy at its finest.

he is also on record to allowing random blood tests at least no closer than 1-2 days before the fight
